Golf Course Homes & Slope-side Condos

This area is a mecca for golf courses - there are 30 courses within 30 miles.  While many are public, there are some private gems with membership available only to those owning real estate within the club area.

With some of the best downhill skiing in the Midwest, slope-side condos are also available at Boyne Highlands Resort (see below).

A personal favorite is Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club.  Featuring 27 holes and 600 home sites surrounded by natural woodlands on 1600 private acres, this country club is only 6 miles from town. 

Birchwood features a full service clubhouse with first class dining facilities, eight tennis courts, heated swimming pool and groomed cross-country ski trails.  Facility use is limited to members and their guests only.  Building lots, a wide range of vacation or year 'round single family homes, as well as condos are available.  Home sites are available in the wooded areas, open areas, and with golf course or water views.  This unique environment is where my husband and I have chosen to make our home.

Boyne Highlands Resort provides golf as well as downhill and cross-country skiing for its members and the general public.  Four Boyne Resorts, within 30 miles of Boyne Highlands, provide 162 holes of world-class golf.  Homes, building sites, and vacation homes and condos are available at all four locations.  Ski-in / Ski-out condos are available in Alpine Village at Boyne Highlands.
